Bowen Therapy in Hamilton

Taking Care of You

Bowen Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive bodywork technique that focuses on stimulating specific points on the body using light pressure and rolling motions. It activates the body’s natural healing processes, promoting pain relief, relaxation, and overall well-being. This therapy is known for its ability to address a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal pain, stress, and mobility issues. Sessions are often spaced out to allow the body time to respond and adjust, making it a soothing and effective approach for both acute and chronic concerns.

What is Bowen Therapy?

Bowen Therapy is a holistic approach that promotes self-healing and benefits all ages in life. This technique involves stretching the soft connective tissue also known as fascia, which gives a signal to the body to reset and de-flame painful muscles, joints, nerves, and tendons to address pain and alleviate any other symptoms with an underlying cause.

Bowen Therapy is beneficial for patients who have back pain, neck pain, muscle pain, respiratory pain, arthritic pain, Sports injuries, Migraines, TMJ pain, Nerve pain, Fibromyalgia, pains in feet and legs, Chronic fatigue syndrome and others.

How is this service different from others?

Bowen Therapy and other services may address flexibility and pain relief, however, the approach of Bowen Therapy is more gentle and less invasive; and uses only the amount of pressure necessary in order for the nervous system to be stimulated.
